In 1997, technicians and specialists linked to the environmental area, sustainable agriculture and activities in the social field, coming from public and private institutions, non-governmental organizations and academic institutions, imbued with the purpose of promoting and supporting the development process in the country and in the world, on a sustainable basis, they decided to create the Institute for Sustainable Development – IDS.

The experience of its members led the team to structure an approach focused on economic and social development, with environmental responsibility.

In this sense, IDS brings together the technical quality of its members in an integrated proposal, of a socioeconomic and environmental nature, converging perfectly with the development proposal in search of sustainability for this and future generations.
