SECTORS
AGRICULTURE, LIVESTOCK, FORESTRY, AQUACULTURE, AND FISHING, MINING
Our involvement in the primary sector of the economy integrates projects and activities related to planning, organization, execution, and management of agricultural activities. This involves the development of technological solutions, technology transfer, technical assistance in sustainable agriculture, agroforestry systems, and integrated polycultures. We provide guidance, studies, and consultancy in forestry management projects, fishery management, fish farming, mariculture, shrimp farming, and other aquaculture practices. Diagnosis and restoration of degraded areas, recovery of permanent protection areas (APPs), legal reserve areas (ARL), and implementation of multifunctional farms are part of our focus.
INDUSTRY AND PRIMARY PRODUCT PROCESSING
We operate in the agro-industrial field, in forestry-based industries, fishery-related industries, agri-food chains, fiber production, agro-energy, as well as sustainable mining and related fields. IDS offers companies quality solutions aimed at productivity and competitiveness for their products and processes, including compliance with ISO 9000, 14000, and 18000 series.
BASIC AND ENVIRONMENTAL SANITATION
IDS works in the field of Basic Sanitation, including diagnostics, development, implementation, and management of projects and activities aimed at identifying solutions, providing water services, collecting and treating sewage, rainwater, and solid waste management.
In a broader perspective concerning the provision of the aforementioned services, IDS operates in the Environmental Sanitation segment, involving studies, diagnostics, implementation, and management of projects and activities related to water resources management to ensure the sustainability of water collection and supply services in line with the population's demand. This serves current and future social and economic needs for production.
Furthermore, we conduct studies, diagnostics, implementation, and management of projects and activities for sustainable management of solid waste and liquid effluents (domestic and industrial sewage). This includes proper disposal (using landfills and appropriate methods for hazardous and toxic waste), treatment according to each type of waste, recycling, and reuse where applicable, within the principles of the circular economy. Our approach aims to minimize waste, thereby closing the sustainability cycle, promoting sustainable business generation, creating job opportunities, and fostering productive social inclusion.
